Collection: Christian Bozon

Christian Bozon was born in Lons-le-Saunier, France in 1969. From 1986-1987 Bozon trained at the Art School of Besancon. In 1993 he established an engraving studio at the French Cultural Centre in Tetouan, Morocco.

Engraver and painter, his art expresses the warmth and colors of both Andalusia and Africa. His prints are often a balance between abstraction and landscape. The artist manipulates colors with dexterity, constructing his compositions with utmost rigor; the refined tones that he uses are subtle and unusual. His art is often made with warm colors that are softly balanced between abstraction and imaginary figures.

The artist today lives in Malaga, Spain. For 10 years he has worked at the “Taller Gravura”, created in 1981, the engraving studio of Paco Aguilar with whom he became acquainted at a meeting of Mediterranean artists in 1993.

Christian Bozon regularly exhibits in Europe, Japan, the United States and Africa. His work has been awarded numerous prizes in France and Spain.
